Looking for some input from you guys. What are the cons of putting the same wire I'm using for TIG into my MIG welder and use it to weld in non-structural parts such as tabs and brackets. This process is alot quicker and easier for installing these items but I've never heard talk about it. I've talked to various welding gurus that I know that have said it is every bit as strong and they don't know why I am not doing it now. The only down side they say is that a MIG welder will hide imperfections in the weld that the TIG process wont, that why I dont think I would use it for main structure items. What say you all.
