Help!

Got these two very old photos at a flea market and am having trouble identifying the type?

Any ideas?

The first one looks like a Curtiss O-1 or P-1 ??? But the clipped wings andexposed jugs look all wrong. Definate Army markings..

The second one ... no idea? I'm thinking a Douglas? Army or US Mail?

THANKS!
