    FWIW I recall a thread regarding this aircraft on the forum. The owner at the time was having an issue regarding the incidence of the stab. I'll try to find it. Must have been a couple years ago.

    Multiple uses. Radio grounding, make a hat or my favorite, wrap hot dogs and safety wire to exhaust for fast lunch on a fuel stop.

    I figured it was in lieu of building a proper housing, to keep crud out of the radio box. Could be anything, who knows. What I do know is that seeing tinfoil in the photo made me laugh out loud after reading

    The tin foil is pretty cool, but I really liked the black tape stick grip, super ergonomic.
