n727gs' post about the Pitts he got to restore... an old friend's build... got me to thinking.
Paul passed away a number of years ago. He was very active in the IAC Chapter 94 in the early days (now defunct). (Back in the 90's I use to help him start the planes by giving them the go ahead to take off. Great times!)
Paul built several Pitts Specials. Was wondering if anyone knew him and if they remembered any of the biplanes he built. Maybe even a few photos of them. Just a thought... but it'd be a neat next project to restore one of the Pitts he built.
In addition to several Pitts, he built a Neiuport 17 with a Rotac Radial on it and a few Formula One racers... one was made into a Sterling model; The Spirit of 76.
