Hi there, I just finished my annual, and put the inspection covers back on. On my first flight after Annual, the inboard upper wing inspection cover came off on takeoff. Then on the downwind leg to return, the one on the opposite side upper wing came off as well. They are the convex type and I screwed them in, but they apparently weren't secured very well with the fabric ring (plastic). Found both to be worn out and cracked. I ordered two replacement concave covers because I read somewhere that those are the type to use in the prop wash area.. Is this true? Also how do I secure the new plastic rings that I also purchased to secure them to? Epoxy? Any help is greatly appreciated!
