I'm very interested to hear anyone's experiences in building a kit vs. building from plans. I've read everything there is to read, but the actual experience of individuals is something I've missed. I find myself situated near to a kind of a dud EAA chapter (no one building anything), so I haven't yet found any local homebuilders to talk to.
