In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Okay, long story short but um... After a rather ugly day of flying, and being a bit fatigued, I encountered a bit of.. um.. hangar rash.

Long story short I smashed the Whelen A650 into the hangar door. Didn't hit the wingtip, but the A650 PR/PG was pretty much toast.

Curious if anyone has an suggestions for the best replacement ideas... LED's, ebay, etc? I can do some simple things, but plug n play would definitely be preferred. I know the Orion 650 is an option but I already have the power supply installed for the strobes. Be nice to remove the extra power supply, but that requires maybe more work than I want to do.

The originals are way more expensive than LED's, but it's all PMA/FAA approved, and I was hoping someone might have a more "experimental" option/ideas. Or does anyone have one they want to sell (Green)? :)

Any thoughts are appreciated!
