I hope somebody more clever than I, can tell me how to connect the leads for the oil temperatur on a 3-in-1 gauge ( the common type with mechanical pressures and electrical oil temp.)
Now there are 4 terminals on the instrument and 2 terminals on the resistance bulb ( MS28034-1). My thinking was to connect the 2 leads from the bulb (a and b ) to the a and b terminals on the instrument, and connect the other 2 terminals on the instrument (c and d) to the battery and ground.
WRONG, the moment the leads are connected the instrument flips up to the stop at max temperature. I tried to switch the leads around but still the same. So obviously I have done something terribly wrong.
