I’ve got an MGL V6 in my Eagle. It’s pretty good. The intercom works well. I use the regular vox capability. I never could get the vogad intercom to work.

If I had the it to do over again though, I’d get the garmin gtr200.

I do love my GTR225. The appeal of the MGL, to me, is the light weight and small size in a little panel cutout. I've never liked the "tuck it between your legs" radio installs in biplanes, since the display is facing the wrong way.

I have that problem in the S-2, the knobs on the radio block your view of the numbers such that it's very difficult to change frequencies. I need to do something different......

I must confess that I like those old Narco radios. Simple, powerfull and reliable they are-´at least in my experience. I hate modern radios. Lots of tiny small knobs and features you have no use for. Here in Denmark we are so very lucky that ICAOs stupid mandate about 8.33 KHZ spacing has been postponed until 2023 for VFR flights below FL 195 and outside Copenhagen TMA. So I installed a Narco Com 120, cheaply bought on Ebay in my Acro Sport. Works like a dream.
