High on the list of my off-season projects is re-locating the attach point of my shoulder harness. The previous owner/builder of my Pitt's was quite a bit shorter/lighter than I. Currently the harness exits below the turtle deck storage, about 3 inches below the top of my shoulders. I'd like to raise them up, and build a storage compartment below their exit point (if needed). I'm greatly reducing the size of the battery as well, making room for storage and any structure required behind the seat. What's the right way to do this? I see some Pitt's with the harness coming right out of what looks like the turtle deck hatch.
On a side note, I'm replacing my large 23lb. B&C Battery with a Shorai LiFeIo battery, shedding a net of about 16 pounds behind the seat, greatly helping my CG as compared to the one the previous owner enjoyed.
Thanks,
Forrest
