Has anyone purchased the Pitts Spruce kit from Aircraft Spruce? I have, but am a little confused as to what some of the material is intended for. I've asked Aircraft Spruce for help but they say they don't know. Included in the package are 6 boards 1/4" thick by 6" wide and 6' long. I think these are intended to be ripped down to 1/4" square strips and used for the wing rib material. Then, also included are two boards 1/4" thick by 6" wide and 10' long. I do not know what these boards are for. I'm building from Steen Areo Lab plans and no where do I see a requirement for some 1/4" thick spruce about 10' long. I'm ready to start building ribs but hesitate to start cutting until I know what all the material is for.

Thanks,
Tom
