Hello All,
I'm new to the forum. I'm seriously considering building a Wolf Pitts or S1-11X. My plan is to have a lot of the building contracted out to the point where they are sub-assemblies and I then assemble. My questions are as follows:
What is the performance difference between the two aircraft (assuming the same engine)? I have heard that some S1-11's have experienced buffeting. I cannot remember if the S1-11 has a smaller chord than the Wolf- can anyone comment?
How do the other performance specs compare? Vs, vertical penetration, drag, roll rate, etc. I have reached out to Paul Bennet Air Shows but no response thus far. thanks!
