• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I know most aerobatic planes are being equipped with Hookers, or with other brand 5 and 6 point harnesses, however I imagine that there are people here using standard type seat belts in their planes.

Recently I sent off a set of Cessna seatbelts to be re-webbed at Aviation Safety Products in Blairsville, GA. I received them back this past week, and wanted to pass along my opinion.

The turn around was quick.
The belts look really good.
The price was good.

Since my belts were for a certified plane, they were returned with proper TSO tags and forms 8130.

I have no affiliation with the company, but I recommend them to anyone flying around with old, faded, or damaged seat belts.

According to their website they not only re-web, they are also able to help you custom design belts for your aircraft, as well as a variety of other web products (like cargo nets and pull straps)
