    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

We are making pretty good progress on the tailfeathers. We still need to do a bit of fitting in the trim area of the elevators. Below is the rudder with hopefully the final rudder horn welded in place. We are currently looking for a suitable cherry rivet to install platenuts. We liked the method Al Rice used posted on his website using platenuts and flush poprivets to attach the piano hinge. The only source we could find for that particular rivet was the Skyranch at 60 cents each! We have been looking for stainless but so far only have found Monel flush cherry rivets in 3/32". Anyone know the compatability of Monel with steel for attaching platenuts? Below are pics of our progress-
