Hi, thinking of building a bipe. Currently looking at starduster too but I was wondering about performance. Not looking for acrobat but structurally solid plane that'll keep me out of trouble if something mechanicallly goes wrong, with good low speed performance, mild xc maybe 500 mile range, easy to land, open cock pit looks interesting. Not too concerned about efficiency or speed.

What's the skinny on the Starduster too, for that matter bipes in general? What are they like to land? grass fields? How about cross winds? Turbulence? Difficult to build? Looking at smaller wood framed Fishers too. Any and all comments welcome. Thanks.
