Has there been any discussion about the merits of building truss ribs versus plywood? According to Hale Wallace the truss ribs are the lightest and the strongest, however is there a significant difference between the two? I kind of like the idea of building truss ribs, since I'm a woodworker but not sure its worth the effort if there isn't a difference.
