OK, so I occasionally stumble across a classified ad that get's me thinking..."wouldn't it be great fun to restore this thing?" There's no way that I could afford it and it makes no financial sense to restore it, but I think about it and chew on it anyway.
This Stearman is the latest example, and even though I'm not actually gonna buy it, I wanted to get your collective thoughts on it. Looks pretty shabby to me, but it includes the engine and (one) prop, which is nice. If I had it I'd try to make a Super Stearman out of it, paint it up in a cool post-war "flying circus" themed paint job with "Biplane Rides" painted under the wings and do just that...give rides out of a field.
