In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. I've been looking at what time and effort savings I can make using the kits available from Steen Aero. The main one I was looking at was the Wing Rib Basic Materials Kit, which says it saves cutting 1500 gussets(not quite sure what a gusset is yet). What is left to on the items in the kit and how much time is it actually likely to save?

Is it really worth using their kits for the wood components of the wings or is there a big cost saving in doing it yourself? Thanks,

David
