So, ktfiles offered up his Acro Sport II plans for sale here a few weeks ago. So I think, "Hey, that'd be cool to have those plans just in case I want to build an Acro Sport!". So I post that I'm interested in purchasing them.
Not long thereafter, Stinsonpilot PM's me asking if I was serious about building an AS II. To which I reply that I've been thinking about an open cockpit build for a while. Then the kicker... A picture from him of a fairly complete fuselage and a deal I couldn't turn down.
So, now I have the plans, a jump start with the fuselage (which needs some cleaning but looks good overall) and this fantastic resource called Biplaneforum.com.
Excuses gone. Let the insanity begin....
