• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

My search for a two place biplane to be used by me and my wife has recently led me to the Acrosport II.

I am looking for an airplane that wil handle basic sportsman level aerobatics.
The Acrosport II will obviously handle it without any problems.

My wife who is a fairly new tailwheel pilot will be flying the new bipe as well. How is this plane in terms of it's ground handling characteristics? Are there any airplanes that might be a reasonable comparison such as a Decathlon or a Citabria?

Can someone steer me towards a review or summary of the airplane and it's flight characteristics?

Thanks,
Glenn
