Hi all,

The aileron side of the aileron hinges of an S-1 are made from 2024-T4. The same part of an S-1-11 is spec'd as T3. I believe T4 has been replaced by T351 but when I ordered T3 bar stock from Wicks, they sent T351. The specs show T3 is a bit stronger than T4 (and, therefore T351) which is why I'd guess it was specified for the S-1-11.

As I understand it, T4 is now specified as T351 and T3 is still T3. Am I missing something?

@kjkimball You're probably familiar with this, what's the correct spec to use in place of T3?

Thanks!
