I'm using a fixed pitch prop on my Duster and am blocking off the Prop Governor pad on the accessory case. I ordered a new gasket for the governer pad and thought it would be a simple matter of removing the cover/old gaskets, and replacing with the new gasket. When I removed the cover, I found 3 old gaskets/plates. One is a metal plate, and 2 are made of gasket material. One of the gaskets has a screen built in.
All I want to do is to block the port. It looks like the plain gasket and the block plate will do the job, now I'm not sure. I think the old gaskets and plate went with the prop governor and are just left over?
Can anyone help me with this one? I've included a few photos. The block plate and new gasket are on the left, and the old parts are on the right.

Thanks, Craig.
