• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Had a nice day yesterday. Went to the Cheyenne Frontier Days airshow. Thunderbirds in the morning and light planes in the afternoon. Bull riding the night before. You guys think flying an airshow is dangerous, try strapping on a 2000 pound bull that has had a few other guys try to stay on his back. In the first round only one guy even stayed on for the full 8 seconds. Buck Roetman (Buckeagle) was there with his highly modified Eagle and his partner has a PW985 powered Stearman. Buck put on a veryprofessional airshow and it was fun to watch those dissimilar airplanes in formation.
During the briefing Buck asked how many jumpers would be exiting the jump plane as he and the Stearman would be circling the American Flag. I distinctly heard the answer as 12. When they came out 13 chutes appeared. I asked Buck about that afterwards and he got a little cranky about the mistake.........

It was nice to meet another forum member in person and put a face to the name.
