OK so for the ferry trip home I notice I have very cool oil temp and rather high oil pressure but within the limits on pressure. Running around locally the Oil temp runs around 145 degrees on a 70 degree day and pressure around 80 psi. I like oil temp around 170-180 degrees. I pulled out the thermocouple and put it in boiling water and it was within 2% so its not the gauge.I started wondering about all the large braided oil lines from the inverted system running around and wondering if this was adding to the issue, as in cooling the oil. Its easy enough I guess to block off part of the oil cooler like we would do in the winter but I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem??
