Guys,
I have two glass sight tubes that come out the bottom of the centersection fuel tanks on my antique. I made new cork floats and coated them in system three resin. Now I've read that the resin is resistant to aviation fuel but not gasoline. I assume this is because of alcohol.
What is the standard for coating the cork? or at all? I have one that was in fuel for 30 years and looks great, it has some sort of varnish.
