My partner needs a side project while her welds are cooling. I was planning to give her a pile of drag wires to thread one end with a die holder in the lathe. I picture two nuts, a washer, some leftover threads and some adjustment adding up to between 1 1/4 to 1 1/2" of threads on the end of the rod. Does this sound about right?

I know way back someone posted the lengths of their drag wires. Ours for the D model will be different in the upper wing but it would be nice to know the lengths for the lower wings. Anyone know those measurements?

Jim
