    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Hey all,

I have been wanting to learn more about engine rebuilding (specifically Lycomings) with hopes at some point I would be competent to rebuild our own experimental engines. Those of you that do this, what resources would you recommend? Books? Videos? Courses?

I don't have the time to dedicate to a full A&P course and from what another pilot here tells me of his recent course, there is a lot of time spent on topics I couldn't care less about. I am really only interested in Lycomings and possibly Continentals.

cheers,
Jim
