• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Here is link to the the flight testing articles I was refering to the DAR thread. I believe there are more and I do have access to them and will post more of them in the future. but for now, if you don't know the first thing about flight testing your aircraft please read through these documents. They should shead some light in this area.

The gentleman (Ed Kolano) who wrote some of these articles is a former instructor at the US Naval Test Pilot school, he now works at the FAA. While I was a student at USNTPS we used these articles from time to time to help us "CAGE" our brain on the flight test technique. And sometimes just to see the bigger picture. These articles well written and helps the fledgling test pilot better understand what the text and instructor are telling them. I highly recommend them.
