Is anyone using harnesses made by someone other than Hooker? I wondered about using a harness from Simpson or others.

Seems like Simpson is 1/3 the cost of Hooker and both offer wide straps, pad sets and hook/latch or cam type buckles. I haven't compared strength but i'd assume these are stout to go in drag cars, etc.

Any comments on the hook/latch type buckle? I use the cam at work...easy to use..but often find a lap belt not secure after anaccidental bump of the cam.
