HIO-360-A1A questions

Hey guys. I sold my little Aeronca and have bought another AcroSport 2. This will actually be my oldest sons as I gave it to him for a graduation gift with the caveats he has to use it to get his pilots license AND of course I get to fly it ;-) anyway it’s got a HIO-360-A1A on it and I just don’t know much about them. What I found odd is it’s a angle valve engine but only rated at 180hp and has 8.7:1 pistons of the IO-360-A1A that is rated at 200hp (I assume that it was from new a angle valve engine but I saw cashflier say in a old post these were parallel valve engines? Maybe he was mistaken?). Anyway I’m just trying to find out Exactly what the parts differences are between a HIO-360-A1A 180hp and IO-360-A1A 200hp. Is it just how they rated the HP that’s different? Any and all info would be great! Thanks!
