This weekend I had the hose that connects my fuel pressure gauge to my fuel pump fail. Thankfully I noticed the leaking fuel through the belly lexan before take off...
Aviat encourages that the flop tube be changed every 5 years. This hose, like most of the others in my plane, are probably original. (15 year old airplane with about 1000 hours.)
At this point I plan to replace all the fuel hoses in the airplane. There are oil lines using the same style hoses. Do you all change those on the same schedule as fuel hoses? Do you even have a replacement schedule or do you IRAN them? Edited by: smutny
