    For sure.. and Billy Michell a well known local Experimental Test pilot and longtime Thorpe owner (jays checkout Instructor)broke his back and multiple rib fractures.. luckily at home now recovering. Prayers to both of em.

    Didn't Ken Brock have a similar accident in a T-18, at El Mirage up on the hi desert near Edwards AFB? Some yrs ago? Dave

    Brock got off the runway and flipped. He was killed, allegedly by being hit in the head by a tool box that was not secured. His wife was not seriously injured. Dirt runway.
