I do know that Lexan melts at a lower temperature than Arcrylic.
The front windscreen on my plane takes a beating. I have made new ones several times over the years. I decided to use Lexan this time. I always heat them to set a curve before installing. I don’t know exactly what temperature it melted at, but it was good about 2 minutes prior to these photos.
