Folks:
I just installed the landing gear shock rings on my new Pitts build. I know this topic has been talked about on this forum before but I never have any luck searching for stuff so will ask it again.
I need too fabricate the safety cables for the landing gear to limit how far it drops in case of bungee failure. My question is what size cable is used and how much slack is given. In other words how far can the landing gear drop before the cable stops it.

Thanks in advance
