For the past couple of weeks I've been getting my lower wing spars built, and in the spirit of progress, I glued all 4 plywood plates on at the rear spar I-strut. In looking at a lot of your build photos (which have been a HUGE help), I noticed that most of you notched out the plywood for the drag wire blocks. I took a look at the plans again, and it appears to me that the block is attached to the plywood. Do I need to do surgery on that plywood plate and notch it for the drag wire block, or will it be acceptable to thin the block down to attach to the plywood. I'm a little confused on how the plans read and what I've seen in pictures, etc... Can someone help set my brain straight?? Thanks!!!
