In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. Anyone out there with M14 experience: I am just beginning the depreservation of my engine. The task cards describe depreserving the magneto as if it comes in a box. As my engine came fully assembled, and was test run at the factory, is there any internal depreservation required on the magneto? I don't dare proceed with the other items, some of which require turning the crank for the first time, without knowing for sure if the mags need to be opened up and serviced. They are on the engine and I don't want to have to remove them if at all possible. Thanks for the help.
