Just joined the forum. Our EAA chapter in Clearwater, FLpurchased an ongoing project in the Atlanta area a couple of months ago. We are starting with the fuselage frame, tail feathers,2 of 4assembled wings, center sectionand most of the metal wing fittings. We have been reading with interest the discussion of the trailing edge fabrication, and the discussion of the aileron control difficiencies. We have already eliminated the 1/4" hinge bushings in favor of 5/16", and plan to use NAS bolts in the bell crank hinges. We are also looking at aileron control stops, and would be interested how others have handled this. Finally, we would love to visit others in our region who are building or have a finishedAcroduster II we could take a look at. We would be happy to return the favor.
