    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I am looking at having a generator transfer switch installed to the house. I gather the gold standard for generators seems to be Honda, but they are very costly. Does anyone have experience with solid/reliable generators that are not at Honda pricing?

Not looking for full redundancy, just want to support lights and a couple of outlet circuits, for Microwave, kettle, etc. Will be rarely used, so I want the thing to actually start up after being sat for months...
