I'm new here and looking to build a modified S-1S and I figured I would come to y'all to get some feedback and ask some questions. So far for the build I'm thinking a VR3 kit for fuselage, Wolf wings, tail, cowling, landing gear, locking tailwheel, Superior IO-360, and a Catto 3 blade prop. Is there a lightweight constant speed prop (if one exists) that would work on combo?
For avionics I was leaning towards a 7 inch portrait Garmin G3X and Trig radios/transponder/ADSB out. I want a modern panel, but nothing super complex or heavy. What are y'all running in yours? I'd love to see some different panel designs.
