Q: What is the real gross weight of this one (S-1C) from 1972? I'm told itcould be 950 or 1,050 depending on the compression ribs. The owner says his weight at 140 isperfectlycentered in the CGbut he isn't sure about gross.Could Ibeheavyenough at 180lbs/chute and full fuel and smoke oil to be concerned?
It's a (1972 Redone in 02)S-1C which is from the early plans. It has the short fuselage and bungees with anO-320/10:1,Christeninverted, full electric, smoke @4.5gals and 20gal fuel tank. It weighs 742 pounds with oil and one gallon of fuel.
As always-thank you all.Edited by: bjkirby2000
