In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

My son is going to need to replace the rear control stick on his Pitts S-2A at the next annual. There is an AD that requires tedious inspections by removing the paint and looking for cracks at the base. If anyone has a control stick available please let me know. I have a rear control stick for an S-2B but it is not the same. I haven't checked with Aviat yet, but I am sure it will be an over-the-top price.

I should have mentioned that the original stick is made with .035" tube and the upgrade with .065" tube. The lighter tube tends to crack at the base.

Thanks,
Danny
