I don't know HOW anyone or perhaps even WHY anyone would try and make any product for an airplane. It's a wonder we have General Aviation in this country.

After some research and a trial of my my own, I bought a Aerobatic sight gauge, very well made, and similar to the DENTAIR one, I thought the one I got could be made a bit better, soooo.... I bought a TIG welder and some Chromoly tubing, and set out to make a few.. I think perhaps I have a "better mouse trap" and I "THOUGHT" I could make a few and sell them at a reasonable price.. Enter the "INSURANCE" question. Long and short of it, the LOWEST premium I can find is $10,000/year for something such as an Aerobatic Sight Gauge! Good god is all I have to say! It's no wonder we don't have more Aircraft Manufacturers!
