    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hi! Since it's 112 F in the garage here in Phoenix, I'd rather talk about building my airplane from the comfort of an air conditioned housethan actually do any of it. At least for about 6 more weeks.
The airplane is an Acro Sport 2 that I bought 70% completed from a retired gentleman. I still need to build the ailerons and upper wing panels, hang and plumb and engine and prop and cover the thing. I saw an Acro Sport 2 on the cover of Sport Aviation when I was a kid and thought they looked cool. When I saw one for the first time as an adult, it looked much smaller. And more difficult to build. And more expensive. But the build schedule puts me at a first flight in the spring of 2008.

Later if all I do is spend time on the computer instead of making spruce sawdust.
