The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

There’s a Starduster Too for sale on Barnstormers with an asking price of $28K. I spoke to the owner, an older gentleman who can longer maintain a medical. The plane was built in the 80s, has an O-360, minimal avionics, no know damage history, but out of annual and hasn’t flown in a couple of years. I’m about three hours away and thinking about take a trip for a look see. I’m both a pilot and A&P but no fabric or biplane experience. Anyone with recommendations as to what I should be looking for on this or any other Starduster? Thanks in advance!
