Gents,

I have been fighting a starter solenoid issue. I have purchased two (2) solenoids from ACS as depicted below and niether works. There is no resistance across the coil at all. The internal plunger isnt moving. I have power (12v) at the proper post, but nothing down stream of that. So, installed a master relay in its place just to check operations and it works fine. The only difference I see between the two solenoids (on the outside) is that the small posts are marked 'I' and 's'. I assume that 'I' means ignition sw for ground and the 's' is for coil or showers type. I have tried both posts and nothing.
ANyone have trouble with these types or recommend any other type of Starter Solenoid?
Thanks
D
