I got a 25 hour Phase 1 fly-off from my DAR. So far I've done lots of inside stuff - 2011 Sportsman routine - and snaps and Immelman's. The airplane does all of these maneuvers easlily if not precisely due to its pilot. I've done inverted stalls, inverted spins (four turns with right rudder) and I've established that it will recover using the Beggs method reliably. This weekendI pushed outside for the first time doing three half outside loops from level flight (from the bottom) I now have 23.5 hours on the airplane and intend to ballast the front seat to 250 lbs to prepare for passengers.Myplan is tojust shoot a few touch and goes and start flying friends. Is this what most of you guys do or do youballast and go through the whole aerobatic regime again to clear out of Phase1?
