• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Hot off the digital memory card,

<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />I justreceived pic's from Tommy of my new laminatedswept tip bows for Tinkerbell. Hot damn it's a shame to cover these things up.
It's a good thing we have photos, no one would believe the beauty that's buried insideof our planes, all covered up.

The first one is <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" />Gary Platner owner of Mighty Mouse Toot. Then there is my other brother Tommy (half Witt) Meyer.
I also included is a plan viewof the wing tips we are talking about.

Originally designed for the Big Toot, but will be tested on Tinkerbell.
Theycan beretro fittedon a regularToot wing as they willshare the same spar spacing and chord.
Wow, I'm pumped!!
