    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

What is the concensus opinion on VG's for a biplane such as these? Could they decrease stalling speed and consequently lower approach and landing speeds, thus enhancing safety OR would they increase the entry speed requirements for some acro maneuvers thus unnecessarily increasing g-loading and airframe fatigue? Could it make a biplane "un-snappable"?

Some Acro Sports have been fitted with stall strips, but I haven't found out what problem they were trying to cure with that remedy. I would like to lower the landing speeds without compromising the acro ability too much.
