I'm considering simplifying the fuel system in the Wolf Pitts this winter.
Currently the upper tank goes to a four position valve (as it also serves as a smoke tank), the fuel side then goes to the wobble pump where I can select that feed on Fuel 2. I am considering eliminating the wobble pump and replacing it with an electric fuel pump on the firewall where currently the smoke pump is located.
So right now I'm interested in how some of you get fuel from the upper tank into the main tank or engine. My original thought was that I would need to add a fitting to the main tank to gravity feed from the upper tank. But some hanger bull sessions have resulted in other ideas. I'm interested in hearing from the community what actually is proven to work.
