    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

A few of the faithfull have asked me over the last year how I made my convertable top and canopy for the Acro Sport. It was all based on the Pitts M12. Kevin Kimball was very kind in letting me photograph his creations at S-N-F as well as Osh. The result was a very nice looking (if heavy) combination of items that hopefully will get tested in the next couple of months. The reason for this posting however is that I found two photos that really showoff this combo. Please enjoy and I'm happy to answer any questions.
